We are located 1,740 meters above sea level therefore you can ski here from late November until early May. At Hotel Kristall you are in the heart of Obertauern right next to the slopes and you still get all the peace and quiet you deserve!
You might ask yourself ‘Why don’t we have any snow at home?’
The answer is very simple: because all the snow comes to Obertauern. This is why Obertauern is one of Austria’s most popular ski resorts. Beautiful mountains, excellent conditions and our Hotel Kristall which is located at one of the top positions in Obertauern have been drawing skiers to this place for many years.
The name gives you the first clue of where you will be going. ‘Ober‘ means ‘upper’ and ‘Tauern’ is the high mountain region where you will be skiing. Get ready to enjoy your holidays at the very top!
